Hand pollination

I was reading this article about pollination and seed saving and I decided to give it a try myself. So this is how I do it.

Male and Female Flower perfect for hand pollination
Male flower
Cut the flower to expose the anther
Hold the stem and rub the anther to the stigma
Make sure the pollen stick on the stigma
Close the flower to ensure that there is no other pollen mix with the one in there

    Salam Hafiz, Its looks like you have many things growing in your garden and will be very busy harvesting them soon. Thats a good way to avoid cross-pollination.     Thanks for visiting this blog of mine. Like yourself I enjoy gardening very much and when I came to Australia I found that gardening here is much more fun and thrilling with the four season weather. However I have a lot to learn and experiment as this is my first experience gardening in this country. So hope I can learn from you ;)
